One of the 66 on this 1923 Dentzel Carousel.
This Carousel was made by the Dentzel Carousel Co in 1923.
It ran at Carsonia Park in Reading PA from 1923 to 1947 and has been operating at the Texas State Fair since 1950.
It has 66 horses 2 chariots and is powered by the Original 15 HP electric motor.
The music that is played is from a 1915 roll operated Wurlitzer organ.
The coolest thing at the Texas State Fair is the Carousel park. It's really the only thing I want to sit and photograph.
